Terms and Conditions

1. Services Offered:

Spanking Clean and Green provides professional carpet cleaning, upholstery cleaning, and area rug cleaning services.

2. Furniture Moving Policy:

  • For items weighing 10 lbs. and under, clients are responsible for picking up what we recognize as clutter. Large debris that can be damaging to vacuums is also appreciated.
  • Items weighing between 10 lbs. and 50 lbs. will be moved by our staff. Items such as dining chairs, end tables, coffee tables, etc.
  • Larger heavy furniture may be maneuvered around, as our cleaning process is very low moisture (VLM) to prevent over-saturation.
  • Complete house furniture moving is available upon request at an additional cost, and pricing is based on individual needs. We are not professional movers and are not liable for any damage to furniture. Fragile or extremely expensive items will not be moved. This also needs to be communicated ahead of time so that we can plan and prepare accordingly.

3. Pricing and Payment:

We offer pre-built packages as well as individual services for specific areas. Final pricing and scope of work will be confirmed on-site (or over the phone with client while we are on site) after prep and before any cleaning begins. Payment can be made via Credit (3% convenience fee), Debit (3% convenience fee), Venmo (1.9% convenience fee), or no additional fees with Zelle, or Check upon completion of the service, after your satisfaction has been met.

4. Appointment Procedures:

It is preferred that clients are present during the scheduled appointment window to grant access and discuss cleaning requirements. If clients are unavailable, access information must be provided during scheduling, client must be available by phone, and confirmation of scope and price must be done over the phone before the cleaning portion of the service begins and at the end for processing payment. Payment is expected at the time service is complete. No exceptions unless you have a pre-agreed upon agreement with Spanking Clean. This is usually for certain clients like property management, commercial properties, etc., and not typical for residential clients.

5. Cancellation Policy:

We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, but we kindly request that clients provide as much notice as possible if they need to cancel or reschedule appointments. Last-minute cancellations are difficult to fill and may incur charges.

6. 30-Day Satisfaction Guarantee:

  1. Scope: Our 30-day satisfaction guarantee (“Guarantee”) applies to all carpet cleaning services provided by Spanking Clean and Green (“Company”).
  2. Guarantee Period: The Guarantee period begins on the date of completion of the carpet cleaning service and extends for a period of 30 days thereafter (“Guarantee Period”).
  3. Customer Eligibility: The Guarantee is available to all customers who have purchased and paid for carpet cleaning services from the Spanking Clean and Green during the Guarantee Period.
  4. Guarantee Coverage: If, within the Guarantee Period, a customer is not satisfied with the quality of the carpet cleaning service provided by Spanking Clean and Green, the customer may request a re-cleaning of the affected areas at no additional cost.
  5. Claim Procedure: To initiate a claim under the Guarantee, the customer must contact Spanking Clean and Green within the Guarantee Period and provide details of the dissatisfaction, including photographs if applicable. Spanking Clean and Green will then schedule a re-cleaning appointment at the earliest mutually convenient time.
  6. Limitations: The Guarantee does not cover dissatisfaction arising from factors beyond Spanking Clean and Green’s control, including but not limited to:
    • Damage to carpets or upholstery caused by factors unrelated to the cleaning process.
    • Areas client was told, at time of the appointment, that required extra attention or areas that were told were damaged and nothing could be done.
    • Pre-existing stains or damage not disclosed to Spanking Clean and Green prior to the cleaning service.
    • Failure to follow Spanking Clean and Green’s post-cleaning care instructions.
    • Any alterations or modifications made to the cleaned areas after the initial cleaning service.
  7. Non-Transferable: The Guarantee is non-transferable and applies only to the original customer who purchased the carpet cleaning service from Spanking Clean and Green.
  8. Exclusions: The Guarantee does not entitle the customer to any refunds or credits. It is limited solely to the provision of a re-cleaning service as described in clause 4 above.
  9. Modification or Termination: Spanking Clean and Green reserves the right to modify or terminate the Guarantee at any time without prior notice. Any modifications or terminations will not affect claims initiated prior to the effective date of such modifications or terminations.

7. Liability:

  1. Limitation of Liability: Spanking Clean and Green shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or relating to the services provided, including but not limited to damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data, or other intangible losses.
  2. Property Damage: While we take utmost care in our cleaning processes, we cannot guarantee the prevention of all damages to property. We are not liable for any damages to carpets, furniture, fixtures, or other items within the premises being cleaned.
  3. Safety: Our technicians are trained to follow safety protocols during the cleaning process. However, the customer acknowledges that accidents can happen, and Spanking Clean and Green shall not be held liable for any injuries sustained by the customer or third parties on the premises during the cleaning service.
  4. Warranties and Guarantees: Any warranties or guarantees provided by Spanking Clean and Green are outlined separately and are subject to the terms and conditions specified therein.
  5. Indemnification: The customer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Spanking Clean and Green, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses arising out of or related to the customer’s use of our services.
  6. Force Majeure: Spanking Clean and Green shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations under these terms and conditions if such failure or delay is due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, war, terrorism, labor disputes, or governmental actions.

8. Carpet Cleaning Restrictions:

We do not do any drapery cleaning at this time. We also do not do any hard floors. If anything you need cleaned is made of cotton, or other shrinkable material, please advise us ahead of time so we can plan accordingly. We will take the proper and adequate measures and use the techniques necessary.

9. Complaints and Disputes:

Any issues or complaints should be addressed by contacting Spanking Clean and Green directly. We are committed to resolving any concerns promptly and to your satisfaction.
